Pathway's three Cs
A unique model to ensure each child’s success
Collaboration
Real growth cannot happen in a vacuum — or an isolated tutoring session. At Pathway, teachers and therapists work together. Teachers follow through on daily exercises from the therapists and therapists work on issues the teachers point out.
Customization
The only way our children can succeed is if we create a program centered around their needs. At Pathway, that's exactly what we do. We look into eah child's core issues and create a customized learning plan.
Consistency
Nothing done once or twice has any real effect. At Pathway, we believe in the power of Every. Single. Day. Children are assigned assistants who work 1:1 with them to ensure that they are getting daily practice in the core skills they're struggling with.
Tutoring - and more tutoring - isn't enough.
Does your child…
Make very little progress
because every step forward takes two steps back?
Dread going to school each day
because he feels so unsuccessful?
Work so much harder than everyone else
and still fall behind?

School isn't supposed to be like that.
School is where children should blossom, grow, and feel empowered.
- At Pathway, learning difficulties are addressed at the root — so your child can finally fill in the gaps and thrive.
- At Pathway, children experience holistic, multi-sensory learning with teachers who care — and language-based methods that work.
- At Pathway, learning becomes rewarding again.
Give your child the gift of language and skills to succeed.

Will your child be the next success story?
"Within two months, they taught him to read"
When our son was six years old he was not able to read a sight word. Other schools told us not to teach him Hebrew and just concentrate on English. Pathway welcomed him with open arms and within two months taught him to read both English and Hebrew.
"Where others see problems, they see solutions"
Having a child enrolled in Pathway is both a fantastic privilege and an awesome responsibility. A privilege, because we are partnering with a group of unbelievably devoted and talented educators with specialized instruction and a vast array of techniques. Where others see problems, they see solutions. A responsibility, because they believe so strongly in our son's efforts and abilities; we hope to make them proud!
"My daughter feels that she is learning and excelling"
Before my daughter went to Pathway she would sit in class and not understand what the teacher was teaching. She received so much tutoring and therapy in school and after school.. — it was a real stress, and it seemed to just be "band-aids." At Pathway, she is taught at her level, step by step. She has been taught key foundational skills and real techniques in comprehension, writing, reading, math. My daughter feels that she is learning and excelling.

Here are some questions you may be wondering about.
Reach out if you have any more!
What kinds of children do you service?
We service students with language-based learning differences, which can include auditory processing, language processing, dyslexia, and other similar learning differences. These are students with average to above-average levels of intelligence who have specific learning challenges related to language.
What is dyslexia?
Although the disorder dyslexia is no longer a diagnosable term, dyslexia still implies difficulty with acquiring reading, spelling, and language skills. The International Dyslexia Association defines dyslexia as a “Specific learning disability that is neurobiological in origin. It is characterized by difficulties with accurate and/or fluent word recognition and by poor spelling and decoding abilities. These difficulties typically result from a deficit in the phonological component of language that is often unexpected in relation to other cognitive abilities and the provision of effective classroom instruction. Secondary consequences may include problems in reading comprehension and reduced reading experience that can impede growth of vocabulary and background knowledge” (International Dyslexia Association, 2012).
What age range do you serve?
We serve boys and girls ages 5-14.
Where are most students coming from?
Many students come from mainstream school settings or language-based early interventions programs. When it becomes clear that a child needs more than a bit of extra support, Pathway is the answer.
At what age can students join your school?
We have rolling admission based on availability. Students can join Pathway at any age we service. Of course, the earlier educational treatment begins, the more advantageous it is for the child. The younger a child is, the more neuroplasticity is naturally available.
Do you provide related services?
Yes, we provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, and school-based counseling.
What is your average class size?
All our classes are leveled, and classes average 4-8 students per session.
Who should apply to Pathway?
Students with average to above-average levels of intelligence who have diagnosed language-related learning differences would greatly benefit from Pathway’s unique approach and method.
What is your application and acceptance process like?
Students applying to Pathway can reach out to the school office and request an intake interview.
You will be asked for your child’s reports and relevant documentation.
An interview will then be scheduled. The interview is multi-faceted and includes an academic screening. Parents have an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Pathway’s programs and discuss their concerns and experiences.
Should a student be deemed a potential candidate, the family will be given an application to complete. Our application is fairly extensive because we view every acceptance as a serious commitment. We go through great lengths to ensure that any student we accept will achieve optimal success at Pathway.
Does Pathway service youngsters with developmental delays?
No, we are not equipped to serve students who have a unique set of needs that differ from our area of specialty.
I’m torn between more tutoring and pulling my child out of school. How do I know what's right for my child?
School needs to be a productive use of a child’s time and an emotionally safe experience for a child. Tutoring is warranted when a child has a localized, specific challenge. When a child is struggling for chunks of the school day and spending hours a week in private instruction — but still failing to master academic skills like reading, writing, and math — more aggressive and integrated intervention is necessary.
What makes Pathway different?
